Surgical Outreach
Dr. Alolabi's strong interest in global health has always urged him to be involved in overseas humanitarian and medical missions. He has volunteered on various missions in Uganda, Guatemala, Fiji and Vietnam, treating patients with congenital upper extremity deformities, traumatic injuries and burn contractures.

Since 2016, Dr. Alolabi has been volunteering with the Guatemala Healing Hands Foundation (GHHF) going on yearly missions. GHHF is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality and availability of healthcare in Guatemala through education, surgery, therapy, and community development. 14 missions have been completed since its establishment in 2004. Each trip is led by a team of surgeons, therapists, anesthesiologists,

and dedicated volunteers. The group treats paediatric patients with congenital hand anomalies, burns and other traumas to the hand and upper extremity. All patients are treated free of expense. Dr. Alolabi's next mission to Guatemala will be November 2025.

Dr. Alolabi recently completed a hand surgery mission in Vietnam in October 2024 with Surgicorps International. The group treated both paediatric and adult patients with various conditions including burn contractures, extra digits, and traumatic injuries.
